Comparison of magnesium oxide board and calcium silicate board

- Apr 12, 2019-

The magnesium oxide board is modified by the configuration of magnesium oxide, magnesium chloride and water ternary system. It is recommended by the state for its Class A fire protection, waterproof and moisture proof, and environmental protection.

Fiber-reinforced calcium silicate board with cementitious materials such as calcium materials and siliceous materials, and reinforcing fibers A new type of lightweight sheet made of main raw materials such as cellulose fiber and alkali-resistant glass fiber instead of asbestos fiber, which is formed by steaming or high-pressure steam curing.

From the raw material point of view: magnesium oxide board is a chemical reaction product of magnesium oxide and magnesium chloride, which is integrated. Calcium silicate board is an aggregate of cement and yellow sand and is a physical reaction.

From the color point of view: glass magnesium plate is generally milky white, is the color of magnesium oxide and magnesium chloride raw materials, density between 0.9--1.3, is a lightweight fire board, and calcium silicate board is more than 1.5, is a heavier one Kind of building materials.

From the performance point of view: glass magnesium plate can be bent 30cm in diameter, without damaging its physical properties. The calcium silicate board is brittle and easily broken. Low-quality glass magnesium plate has more free chloride ions, which will corrode steel, metal, etc., while calcium silicate board will not. The magnesium oxide panel can be hot pressed with triamine paper, cold pressed fireproof leather, technical wood, etc., while the deep processing category of silicon calcium plate is not so extensive. Under humid conditions, the composition of the magnesium oxide panel will change its crystal form, releasing magnesium chloride on the surface, which is commonly known as returning halogen, and losing strength. The calcium silicate board does not.
